We love that many of our customers live a lifestyle focused on sustainability and limiting their environmental impact (think plastic-free, shopping only with reusable bags etc). Even though all our bags are compostable, we are now taking it one step further and accepting (sanitized) containers our customers bring in to be refilled with fresh coffee beans.
While you can bring whatever container you would like, we recommend an air tight and opaque container to maintain the quality of your beans. That being said, it is entirely up to you which type of container you bring to our Tasting Room to be filled, even if it is a re-sealable Bivouac bag that had already gotten from us and would like to bring back. We will also grind your beans in store as we would with any other bag of coffee beans that we sell.
To keep things simple and fair, you can bring in any size container and you will be charged per ounce.
