Last weekend, the Bivouac team ventured out to South Dakota to serve coffee for 450 guests at the Get On! ADV Fest, organized by Revzilla. This events focuses on bringing together the adventure riding community and responsibly exploring the local roads and trails.
Whether you stay on pavement or not, this area of South Dakota is amazing if you like curvy roads, rocky trails and tons of historic towns to visit. As part of the event the new BDR-X Black Hills film was launched. Backcountry Discovery Routes (BDR) is a non-profit advocacy organization that creates off-highway routes for dual-sport and adventure motorcycle travel. Each route generates new tourism that delivers sustainable economic relief to less-advantaged rural communities.
We had a blast hanging out with the BDR team and the new route is at the top of our list. If you watch the film, you will also meet one of our ambassadors, Odessa Winter.
